Scholarship Description: This program is soliciting nominations for outstanding foreign students worldwide to participate in the 2010-2011 International Fulbright Science and Technology Program. Grantees will be enrolled for Ph.D. study at top U.S. universities in the fields of science, technology, or engineering for the academic year 2011-2012. This award is designed to be among the most prestigious international scholarships in science and technology. The candidates must demonstrate unique aptitude and innovation in scientific fields.
Selection Criteria
•Nicaraguan citizen and residing in Nicaragua
•Complete undergraduate degree before August 20, 2010
•Some research experience
•Excellent command of English (580 TOEFL score or more)
•High quantitative GRE score (700 or more)
•Excellent academic history
•Possibility to apply in Nicaragua the subject selected
